We believe that the barriers undocumented, first generation, and/or low-income students face helps weave the fabric of their resilience and courage. We also recognize that at times, these experiences and obligations place additional strain that may impact mood, motivation, self-esteem, relationships, and overall well-being. In addition, stress related to xenophobia/racism, deportation fears, finances/employment, and identity concerns can make it hard to find balance

Counseling and Psychological Services

CAPS is the student mental health center on campus that provides a multitude of services including individual counseling, group therapy, wellness programming, urgent care counseling, and more.

All currently registered UCLA students are eligible for all services offered by The Counseling Center. Students, who are not currently registered, please refer to their fee schedule for specific pricing information.
Location: John Wooden Center West, 221 Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90095-1556. The entrance faces the Intramural Field and Drake Stadium. Reception is located on the second floor. The first floor contains conference and group rooms only.

Hours of Operation:
Monday through Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
