Undocu Fellowship

Fellowship Description

The UCLA UndocuBruins Fellowship for the 2024-2025 academic year aims to provide an opportunity for undocumented students to be fellows and to 1) develop skills to be career and life-ready; 2) be leaders in our diverse and global society; 3) learn how to collaborate through partnerships; 4) and foster healthy communities with partners, thus contributing the development of wellness-minded people.

Independent Project Component

The main component of the UndcuBruins Fellowship is to allow eligible undocumented students the opportunity to develop and complete a project of interest that adds to their academic and professional portfolio. Fellows have full control over the design of their project, whether it is a research project, planning of workshops, creation of resources, and any other format they chose to develop. Fellows are encouraged to focus their projects in topics of equity, diversity, and inclusion; as well as forms to serve, honor, or highlight significant social issues. The goal of the independent project is to add an experience of full project development, leadership, and any skills you may have gained throughout the course of the project to your resume and professional and academic abilities.
